2.2 Sizes and measurements. Sizes and measurements of the finished coats are listed below. All measurements and tolerances are expressed in inches.

NOTE: A, B, C, and D refer to Figure 1. Measurements shall be taken with the coat laid flat and smooth.

B. Length � Measurement taken along back center seam from undercollar neck seam to bottom edge of coat.

C. Sleeve length - Measurement taken along inseam from armhole seam to bottom edge of sleeve.

D. Collar length - Measurement taken from end to end of collar along base of neck with collar in open position.

2.3 Material.

2.3.1 Basic material. The basic material shall be polyester/cotton twill conforming to class 2 of MIL-C-29127, white shade 3053, piece no. 82314 or cotton twill conforming to CCC-C-461 (any type), white shade 3035, piece no.89244.

2.3.2 Cloth, sheeting. The cotton or polyester/cotton sheeting used for the topcollar interlining, fly front, and eyelet reinforcement shall be bleached white, conforming to type 11, class 2, style A or F of CCC-C-430.

2.3.3 Buttonholes. The buttonholes shall be 7/8 inch long, taper bar style, eyelet end and worked over gimp with purling on the inside of facing.
