Label . Each glove shall have a combination identification, size and instruction label described as type VI, class 14 of DDD-L-20. The color of the label shall be approximately 1-1/2 inches wide and 1-1/4 inches long, The width shall be sewn onto the outside of the insert at the hem of the back hand. The label shall show colorfastness to laundering and contain the following information:

in warm water with

mild soap/detergent

*Instruction slip. A printed slip of thin paper containing instructions as indicated below shall be inserted in one glove insert out of every pair:

Glove Inserts, Cold Weather, Lightweight

Only wear these gloves inserts with gloves,

Men’s and women’s intermediate cold/wet,

MIL-C-44419. The glove inserts can be worn on either right

or left hand. Remove the inserts when they become damp from

perspiration and replace them with a dry pair of inserts to

keep hands warm.
